Our Story

It all started at the SEC Championship. They were both invited as plus-ones by a mutual friend. Dallis was immediately smitten when she saw Mils arrive at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. They hit it off almost instantly and celebrated the Dawgs’ win with Dallis making Mils swing dance with her in a bar far too small to be dancing in.

Dallis went back to Athens to finish her final year at the University of Georgia, thinking she might never see this cute boy again. To her surprise, she soon got a DM from Mils asking her out on a date. Obviously, she had to say yes!

They met up in Atlanta, where Mils was working at the time, and had dinner at his favorite sushi spot. After dinner, Dallis won him over by kicking his bootay in a round of putt-putt. At that point, neither of them could deny there was something special brewing between them.

Their second date was a bit more unorthodox. Mils met Dallis’s parents… far sooner than either of them would have expected considering how new their relationship was, but here we are! Dallis was attending a ball in Macon, where she’s from, and needed a date, so naturally, Mils was her first thought. Mils stayed at Dallis’s family home and spent the weekend getting to know the whole crew.

Not long after, Dallis and Mils visited Charleston for the Futurebirds New Year’s concert. There, Dallis met Mils’s sister and his longtime best friend (no pressure), and thankfully earned their quick approval. They’ve shared their love for the Futurebirds ever since.

The timing of their relationship came with one caveat. Dallis was leaving to study abroad in Cortona, Italy for three months. Even though they had only known each other a short time, they knew the distance wouldn’t get in the way of how they felt about each other. It became their first “test” as a couple. The time difference was less than ideal, but Mils was persistent. Dallis knew he was serious when he somehow managed to figure out how to get flowers delivered to her dorm. Turns out, 4,967 miles had nothin’ on them.

They made things officially official as soon as Dallis returned to the states, and the rest is history. After graduation, Dallis moved to Atlanta where they continued to grow their love for one another. In 2024, both Mils and Dallis took a leap of faith, quit their jobs to pursue new opportunities, and moved to the coast. Dallis is currently living in St. Simons while Mils is in Savannah where Dallis will soon join him!

This is only the beginning for us, and we’re so glad you’re here to celebrate this journey with us!
